Historic Preservation. Wood window and door restoration in Washington, D.C. Metro Area

FACILITY

FACILITY

Our current facility is probably the most versatile, best outfitted, and likely among the largest of its kind in America, dedicated to the restoration and reproduction of millwork for historic buildings. It started in a group house in Adam’s Morgan in 1981 and has never stopped growing. With machinery benches, jigs, and more, for wood, metal, and glass working, we outsource hardware and little else. We have recently become a solar-powered facility. For 20 years we struggled with deliveries and parking, small spaces, and crime in alley shops. The bounty of our current facility is second only to the quality of the craftsmen that work here.
