Since its inception in 1873, Eastern Market has served as the oldest continually operating market in the District of Columbia. A fire devastated the market on April 30, 2007.
The Craftsmen Group was awarded the contract to restore what remained of the sash and jamb, reproduce what was missing, and install new historic glass.
