This is the carriage house or "top shop". Metal and glass work downstairs, design studio and office upstairs. Built in 1905 it predates all other nearby structures, originally just a horse barn on a hill. This photo of it is the alley frontage, though originally the back of the building before the neighborhood was built up around it.
