With this project, the client's primary interest was preservation. Lacking most of the original millwork we did reproductions based on a neighboring house.
The window sash and jambs had been removed from the second and third floors and the masonry pocket for the window weights had been filled in.In order to keep the sash operating on the traditional pulleys, we fabricated extra thin weights for the limited space and it worked wonderfully.

A delightful paint job completes this careful restoration.
The pilaster here was salvage at the Brass Knob - an old porch column split in our wood shop
