Traditional Casement Windows

This is a large in swing French casement window. The most difficult sash window to seal well, indeed during a trip to the Chateau de Versailles, I've noted similar challenges faced with, well, modest results. Here the advantage of interlocking metal weather strip is applied - notice the bronze piece at the sill. Note as well, the ample drip machined into the sash for a smooth connection and sufficient projection. Both are key ingredients to successful performance.
